It's been quite the journey. This path of understanding and the awakening to the self.
Deciphering what to pursue and what to set free. Or at times taking on stillness to patiently polish what is already had and restore it into a new version, Transformed.
I have been on this path meandering along with blind faith and sometimes Admittedly, stomping my feet with my fists up to the sky. Its in those times that I realize to trust something deeper within me. That in fact, if I just pause and move out of the way Clarity is sure to follow, allowing for something beautiful to manifest. This next chapter that is unfolding within this work that I am called to do is filled with excitement and wonderment into the unknown. I am delighted to share my journey with you. In hopes that it will offer some Insight Into taking risks, inspiring you to trust your Inner guidance. Reclaim the journey you are on and fill the spaces with everything that delights you!
I have arrived at the decision to Integrate my passion for restoring and reclaiming unique furniture, home goods and sacred goodies with my equally deep passion for offering clients guidance and support on their spiritual path. This is An unavailing of how they are beginning their walk. Hand in hand. Infusing spaces with positivity and good vibes.
It dawned on me one day how significant the two mirror one another.
I am pulled toward furniture that is not, how would you say? The most desirable of the bunch. They tend to be used, worn and lack the luster. They are passed by, ignored or tossed to the curb. I gravitate to them seeing their bones and potential beyond their surface. As I paint it or restore it. It takes on a connective energy. almost as if it's speaking to me, stirring my imagination as I pour my soul into it. I truly get lost in the creative process of it taking on its new form. Each time something in me evolves through the experience. As I patiently sand, hammer and repair, discover the perfect findings to embellish it and let it speak to me with each stroke of the brush, In the dance of Transformational reveal. holding it in a loving space as it forms into being
I too can relate. I relate to each piece I touch, having experienced times in life where I feel weathered worn out, even kicked to the curb. Can you relate? I'm sure we all can.
There have been times I've had to dig in and allow for the sanding process to begin, not always willingly, as it takes time and grace to allow for healing and shedding. And damn it hurts at times,
But Soon I realize that letting go of the heavy layers of "paint" that life has handed me, can allow for a fresh start a new energy to emerge, a re birthing as I take on the tenderness and care that I offer to my creations for myself as I am restored. More times than one, into fabulous new versions of myself.
In conclusion, I have dedicated my life's path to restoration and reclaiming. throughout life experiences, the good, great and not so great. I have gained awakened wisdom in my soul. That has called me to do the work I love bravely and with hands trembling at times. I have Deep Gratitude that at this point, for over half my life. I have been gifted the opportunity to offer guidance and support to others. So that they too, can be offered a space to grow and transform into their highest potential.
Because, I believe after all. Are "bones" aka our Spirit is solid, foundational always there.
Sometimes, perhaps we may just need a little sanding to remove the old and enthusiastically even in a messy artist studio we can blanket ourselves in a fresh coat of paint. Any dang color you want, as many times as you choose, Reclaiming the most magnificent parts of ourselves the ones that hold a space that is sacred.
In Sacred space
and much love,
Kim
