The Intentional "nuts"

Today as I gazed out my window a squirrel showed up in the yard. gliding and scurrying through the front yard with the utmost enthusiasm and glee, as I observed this little creature. I wondered, damn this poor baby out in the cold just trying to live . Little did I know. This little being was going to put on a display of resilience and survival that was soon to humble me within my thinking that it was in any way lacking the wisdom to survive and maintain its comforts.

It Made a sudden stop and began to dig with enormous intensity into the snow, eventually reaching the dirt to extract a nut buried in the cold frozen ground. Damn, was I impressed! Not only in its agility to plow through the hardened snow, but in its ability to instinctively know or remember, or perhaps maybe even smell where the nut was located. Now, if you know anything about squirrels. They are known to have this crucial survival strategy where they scatter their food reserves in various places. So to protect there supply and also return to it in times of need. like in the winter, when their food supply is less abundant.

I couldn't help to ponder on this behavior and how we too can benefit from the endless supply of survival skills we have each developed throughout our journeys What precious attributes do you have stored away? That in the times of scarcity, lack or worry you have tucked away as a reserve to dig up and utilize in times of need. When everywhere you look winter has paused everything into stillness. How does one survive in environments that aren't displaying any signs of thriving?

I believe there is a lot to learn in the wisdom I observed from this less than 12 ounce little genius.

That is this, we have an endless supply of "nuts" at our disposal, as you've probably guessed I'm not referring to food. We have an inner fertile field available to us to dig into any time we wish, in the form of an energy field if you will. where we can store away our Intentions. Grace, love, acceptance, gratitude, presence, peace, to name a few. That if you instinctively remember where they are placed, in the coldest times of our life we can dig deep and pull them out. So to assist you in the times of scarcity and need. All that work you put Into developing your inner strengths of hope and the resilience you put forth, thriving in abundance as the sun was shining on you, will now serve its due diligence in the times you need it the most.

Stay tuned for part 2 ( ; "Planting an unexpected forest"
